Planning based on projected Production

Our client requirement is as follows:

They have a projected production quantities for a period of two months. (from current day to 60th day and its a rolling period i.e again from next day to the next 60th day)

Based on these projection they raise sales orders. Their requirement is system should not allow to create sales orders more than the projected quantities at any given day.

Kindly let us know how to map this scenario in SAP.

This is pretty standard ATP....you need to set your MRP views appropriately with Lead Time and Scheduling values and enter a forecast...you can do this using a firm planned order. Get with your MM/PP consultant resource. You may want to change your ATP config. to dictate what elements it considers in the ATP check i.e. Deliveries, PO's, Stock etc.
