AE / IE alerts not getting generated after transport

Hi All,

I have created categories for AE and IE alerts on my DEV system and the alerts are getting generated for adapter engine errors and mapping errors etc in DEV.

The categories are now transported to QA system and I also configured the alert rules on QA but no alerts are getting generated for adapter engine errors / mapping errors.

is there any setting which enables the generation of AE / IE alerts for errors?

Amol,

Check in ST22, whether you have got any dumps with XIRWBUSER.

Check if the rules are activated, alert services are activated in SICF.

Try creating alerts manually using RFC SALERT_CREATE and check the alerts in report/transaction RSALRTDISP.
