Hi all,
I am working with SAP solman 4.0 and I've notice that the business blueprint has only three levels on the hierarchy inside each project: scenario, process and step.
Is there any way of adding more levels, for example by customizing of the SolMan?? Or is it a fixed hierarchy without change??
We would need more hierarchy levels for our business modeling.
Thanx all.
Hi Accenture,
Sorry the amount of levels is fixed and from what I've heard it will be that way for quite a while. It's a huge issue usually too because a lot of businesses have their processes detailed out to 6 levels. It's one of the biggest turn-offs for the tool in my opinion.
I find it funny that a tool that has ARIS integration limits itself like this when processes modeled with ARIS usually have a ton of levels.
There are creative ways to make more levels, including high level abbreviations and even the use of multiple SolMan projects linked together. My advice would be to keep it simple though.
regards,
Jason
