XI Alert

Hi,

I 've done XI alerting, but constantly becoming alert for only one of the error messages. What could be wrong?

I've done it with help of Michals step-by-step tutorial. We are on SP11....

check the box...Suppress Multiple Alerts of this Rule

Make sure there is some error in some scenario and den create an alert rule that satisfies for that error and then check whether alert is being raised or not.

Hi,

For getting alert for errors of all category select the No Restriction radio button in the alert configuration.

Try selecting the *Suppress Multiple Alerts of this

Rule* option.

For modifying it first select the alert rule in XI Alert Configuration tab and then modify it and then save ti by clicking on Update table.

i did it, but no luck, i should delete it....strange behavior in general with this XI....

Instead of deleting it you can also deselect the Rule Active check box. Try it and c.

Hi mslopar,

I think the alert rule you have defined satisfies only one error. Thats y only for one error message you are getting alert.
