Converting Non Batchable material to Batchable.

Dear All,

Wish you happy new year.

I have some doubt.Can we change non batchable material to batchable .I have close all the open orders and made the qty nil in all the plants.But when i am trying to tick the Batch managment field in material master,system is throughingan error that stock lying in previous period.

When i checked it in material master in accounting view, under previous period tab it is showing the stock and value.

When i checked the opening stock of this year and closing stock of last year end it matches.

So unable to understand why it is showing the stock lying in previous period.

Can any one guide on this.

Hi,

You can try transaction MM17, if not possible you need to update MARC-XCHPF through ABAP.
