copy text from sale order to production order

Hi all,

I got requirement as the text we have given at sale order item level has to copy to production order

can any body shade me light on this issue

Hi,

I've found the way to do this.

In SD side, there's a transaction VOTXN. Change the configuration for Sales Order Item.

Add a Text ID 0006 (Production Memo) in Textprocedure with Access Sequence 21 (Material Sales).

In Access Sequence 21, map Text Object VBBP (Sales Order Item Text) to ID 0006 (Production Memo).

Save it.

When you create your sales order, in the item text level, you'll be able to see an additional text type of Production Memo. Enter your text here and save the sales order. When production order for this Sales Order is created, Production Memo tab will automatically appear.

This is done in the standard messaging of the PO and through the copy

control between the sales order and the PO

In SPRO

Materials Management

Purchasing

Purchase Requisition

Texts for Purchase requisition

Define your text type under 'define text types'

Under 'define copying rules' for that text type enter the linkage to the

sales order, and the text type of the sales order.

Once you do this, then find the text types in purchase order and do a

similar configuration.

Try Purchasing --> Purchase Requisition --> Texts for Purchase Requisitions --> Define Copying Rules.

Thanks for response but i want copy text from sale order to purchase order (co01)

information: i will convert sale order into planned order in "md04" planned order will convert as production order ....

Hello,

Go through the following path -

SPRO - Materials Management - Purchasing - Purchase Order - Texts for Purchase Orders - Define text types ( as required) and then Define Copying rules for item texts as a second step.

Here you can maintain a link between your purchase order and sales order for transferring texts.
