Screen Variant

Hi,

Want some of the fields in VA01 to be made mandatory and some not changebale(output grey out). For this i have created a screen variant thru SHD0.

The problem is when we are executing from SHD0, the screen variant is working.But when executing from transaction it is not working.The same variant is assigned in doc type also.

Any further steps to be done.

Please advise and guide.

Hi Vijay,

It is always recommended to use userexits for your requirement not the screen variants, as you can keep conditions in userexits

I think u dint activate the particular variant transaction which u have created.

go to shdo and input ur created variant and activate then u do the process

Dear Vijay

Check by assigning new TCode with Variant. Transaction as VA01 and Variant as per SHD0.

If it is working then , you in VA01 if you select the order type for which varaint is assigned , it should work
