Hai All,

I have developed a scenario and it is to be transported to Quality.

We are maintaining same SLD for both DEV and QC.

Is it required to transport SLD also or enough if we transport IR and ID objects.

HI,

You have used the naming convention for Dev and QA so u need to follow the same naming convention in QA as well, for Example if u have used the business system in Dev with the name BS_DEV so in QA u need to follow the name as BS_QA so u need to first create the transport group in Dev and then transport the object from Dev to QA.

U can transport in two methods first is File transport which is Manual and second is CMS which is automatic.

Please follow the below methods for transport.

Once you have created SLD in Dev below transport mechanism is used for transporting the obj from DEV to QA and PROD:

Transport mechanism

1. Create Technical System and Business Systems for the QA system.

2. Create Transport Groups in the Business System.

3. Create Transport Targets in the Source Business SYstem.

Check the link for:

Your SWCV can be exported and imported using TPZ files into the IR.

The ID also use TPZ files and as the objects are imported , the business system details will be filled up .
