Problems with Transfer MDM - XI - R/3 4.7

Hey

I got problems sending a file from MDM 5.5 through XI 3 to a R/3 4.7 System. The XI opens the file with a ftp-connection from the MDM-Server but doesn't forward to the R/3 System. Instead it shows the error-msg: "DB Tab RFCDES: Codepage could not be determined"

Can anybody help me ??

@Maksim: right, the adapter is configured with file-type=text and "UTF-8".

@Ravi: it's a XML-File.

What kind of file is this, a Excel file, flat file or an XML file?

If its an flat file / Excel file, then you need to do the content conversion in the file adapter of XI as XI can understand only XI.

Please give more details.

Hello Daniel,

Did you set "File Type"="Text" and "File Encoding"="UTF-8" in "Processing parameters" section for your file adapter settings?
