Line item deletion in sale order

Hi friends,

When I am deleting an item in sale order its giving a message like this " For reasons of cost management, item 000010 cannot be deleted ". Can anyone explain me about this and can give me solution how to delete this item please??

Dear Rama,

if your sales order is delivered then you cannot do a deletion. otherwise, go to material master MRP1 and change the MRP planning as ND - no planning,

then i think you can delete the line item
