Communication channel Attributes non trasportable

Hi,

Some attributes of CC are non transportable during the transportation of Configuration objects. Can I have any list or doccument one have which attributes are trasportable and which were not ? needed for FILE, JDBC, HTTP, IDOC, RFC.

U ll not find the complete list for all the adapter types. The better optionn would be:

Import the ID in the target transport landscape (e.g. production), then try activating the change list. The errors ll show u exactly all the places in communication channel where the configurations for all the channels of ur involved scenarios are required. So i think u dont have to look for other options

I dont think u ll b able to find such a list on sdn. May be someone can help if they had their personal document for this.

Hi Mahesh,

You can see some hints from below:

from SAP Help:

Note the following for communication channels: To avoid messages being sent from a productive system to systems in the test landscape, the Integration Builder only exports a selection of attributes. Therefore, address data (host, port) and access data (user, password) are not contained in the export. In the adapter metadata in the Integration Repository, such attributes are flagged as not transportable (they depend on the adapter type and are fixed). Once new objects have been imported, you must add the non-transportable attributes in the target system. These additions are retained in any further import of the object.
