Change the Standard Layout for VC05 Transaction

Hi Experts,

I have some Requirement to Create the New layout for the VC05 Transaction rather than what sap has given the Standard Layout as per the Requirement.

So Please give me the Procedure or steps to Create New Layout for the VC05 .

it is very Urgent.

we are not going the Change the layout for the selection screen.we want to change ALV display layout for the vco5 after executing vc05.

please give me the steps to change the standard layout.

hi,

this you can do it by selecting the columns that you want to display in the ALV from the menu options and save it as a variant.

Hi,

sorry though its urgent you need to do quite a bit of work to acheive this.

there are two ways either you can modify the standard VC05 layout as per the requirement or copy it and name it with a Z transaction code.

But while copying you would need a lot of help from the abapers to whether all the required parameters are getting copied.

Also you need ensure that all the scenarios are working well with the new/modified layout. Generally such modifications result in lot of dumps by the time they are actually rectified. We have done a similary work for changing the layout of VL10 transaction putting some additional filters in the initial selection screen.
