BOM

Hi,

In sales order, I don't want to explode BOM main items, but still I want to generate Purchase requisitions for BOM Subitems.

How can I do that, Please help me to resolve this issue, so that your help will be highly appreciated.

Hello Mr. Raghu,

1) If you don't want to explode the BOM in your sales order then please goto the item category setting TAQ (Tcode VOV7) and in the Structure-scope remove 'A' which is meant for Single level material explosion.

Rest all remains the same.

Hi,

instead of changing TAQ's item categories structure scope configure the BOM items, item category as TAN. Now you the BOM will not explode.

Do not change TAQ's setting as some other item might require a BOM explosion. Or the best idea to configure your item category with required parameters in VOV7.
