Hi Guys,

Can anyone tell me what is the purpose of running the report SDSPESTA as a cut-over activity during go-live.

Hi

SDSPESTA is used to update the status fields for overall block in VBUK and VBUP. During cutover we may some orders which may into error due to credit block and hence further document processing may be stopped. Hence this report is used find the documents on block and the credit representative releases them using VKM1.

I hate to dig up such an old thread, but it wasn't answered and I had the same question. Here's what I found...

Basically what happened is some of the lists (v.00, v.14, v23) only searched for orders with blocks at the header level. This report, along with SDLIEFSP & SDFAKSPE, updates the orders/lists to pick up those orders/billing docs/deliveries with blocks at the line or schedule line.
