Missing communication channel parameters after upgrade to PI 7.0

Former Member

Hi,

we have upgraded XI 3.0 to PI 7.0 following the steps guide without any problem.

The SLD has been reconfigured.

And XI Content with corresponding version and support package level was imported.

But when we try open the communication channels in ID, does not show us the parameters. Besides, does not let us to create a new communication channel. It seems like doesn't recognize the type adapters.

This problem is with file, rfc, jms types. And we can create channels with XI, http and idoc type.

All the channels works correctly before upgrade.

Thank you very much in advance for your help.

Hi,

Do you have imported SWCV "SAP ABA" and "SAP BASIS"? Think it can be the problem.

Also check if those adapter modules were correctly deployed (use Visual Admin to check it).

regards.

Hi,

we didn't any problem with Java stack in upgrade. And we have checked that all Java components are in the correct version.

Also, SWCV (XI content) was imported correctly.

The BASIS SWC sould match with the SP level of the Jave stack. Meaning if you applied SP-12 then you have to import the BASIS SWC of SP -12.

Hope this will help you.

Just try to reimport the BASIS SWC and restart the J2EE server.

Thanks

Hi,

We are in SP 13 and we imported the BASIS SW of SP 13.

Besides, we re-deployed the adapterframework components of the java stack.

Thank you very much.

It seems like.. the ABAP stack got properly upgraded.. since.. XI IDOc and HTTP adapters are on ABAP stack. Seems like JAVA stack problem.. but not sure where..
