Hi,
We have a requirement where we need to send an email to the requester informing them that the shopping cart is fully approved.
This email should contain some details like the shopping cart number, product id etc.
Can someone suggest a way to achieve this?
Thanks & regards,
Srivatsan
Hi
Which SRM version are you using ?
Did you explore 'Define recipient for notifications' SRM - IMG settings under SAP Business Workflow node.
In detail, You can define the email notification in customizing:
SRM Server --> Cross Application --> Workflow --> define recipient of notification.
Also, Please refer to SAP OSS note 455140 fo E-Mail settings.
Mails are sent via SAPConnect.
Check transaction SCOT:
customizing of an SMTP server
filters on outbound emails
scheduled job to process INT node
Also go through this links ->

Hope this will help. Do let me know.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
We are on SRM_SERVER 550, Sp07.
I did the config change in node SRM Server --> Cross Application --> Workflow --> define recipient of notification
Here for scenario 'Approve SC', I checked- rejection of application object, approval, change and deletion for role 'initiator of WF'.
When the SC gets rejected the requester (initiator of WF) gets a notification in Approval--> Messages tab, but when the SC is fully approved, there is no notification.
Can you please suggest why there is no notification when the SC is approved?

Hi
Please check and ensure that Requestor Inbox does not contains a mail on Approval. Seems might be to missing system authorizations or this might be due to system bug..
Also, look for the standard Report - RSWUWFMLEC. (by debugging, if possible.. )
See related SAP OSS Notes / pointers below as well ->
Note 777968 RSWUWFMLEC: E-mail although user is no longer valid
Note 672504 SRM-EBP-WFL: Error in offline approval: "the argument of t
Hope this will definitely help. Do let me know.
