SAP .net connector 2.0 is compatible with ECC 6.0

Dear Gurus,

Is SAP .NET connector 2.0 is compatible with ECC 6.0.

Presently i am using .net connector 2.0 in my application on R/3 4.6C. Now system is upgraded to ECC 6.0.

So i use same .NEt connector or need to upgrade connector to version 2.0.1.

Also what is difference between .NEt conncetor 2.0 and .NET connector 2.0.1.

Hi Deepak,

Yes, you should be able to use NCo 2.0 with ECC 6.0. However, I would suggest to always use the latest version if possible.

Please see few of the difference between 2.0 and 2.0.1 I posted today in other thread on this forum only.

And regarding your question about SAP support to NCo, well, I guess it will be minimum in future because as per their roadmap they do not seems to be coming out with another version in future compatible with VS2005 etc. Instead their new product is ESS (Enterprise Server Explorer) and I guess thats what one should look towards in furture
