Two networks under one project definition

Hello Friends,

The requirement is for ATO scenario, We need to create two networks say one network, Main for assembly of machine, and the network for Warranty & Service.

The Reason is once the machine is produced tested and dispatched, the network and activities can be technically closed. Hopefully this can show WIP nil.The other network and its WBS is open to take care of warranty claims.

Is it correct to create two networks, if so what settings needs to be taken care.

Hi Ramanan,

Yes, it is absolutely O.K, if multiple networks are used. For transaction CJ20N, you even do not need any customer settings to enable it. Just right mouse, and do 'create' -> 'network'.

Kind regards,

Hello,

Yes you can very well have multipal networks maintained in the project. This enables proper scheduling and differntiate the tasks. To create multiple netwok you have to maintain the network asst for WBS element in plg board/dates tab in tcode OPSA.
