can i see the docuemnt type with in the sales order?

You can see that in the path.

Go to--Header--Sales

You can also see the document type for multiple documents in table VBAK, the field being VBAK-AUART

Use T.Code VOV8 to create Sales Document Types.

The Sales Document Types can be seen in a Sales order in its Header Data.

Yes, you can see the sales order type at the document header.

Follow the steps:

Open the sales order : VA02/VA03

Go to sales order header by clicking the document header details icon

Go to tab "SALES"

First field at the left top corner is "order type"
