unable to log in with SAP * and password pass in new client

Dear all,

I have installed nw2004s ides (Win2003 SP2 and MS Sql 2005) i have created a new client and tried to login in with sap * and password pass and 06071992.but it is not allowing me to log in

i want to perform local client copy in the new client.

Please suggest on this and do the needful.

To activate the sap* user, you must set the login/no_automatic_user_sapstar profile parameter to the value 0.

And then you can recreate the client and u will find the sap*/pass available!!

changing profile parameter "login/no_automatic_user_sapstar=0" in the default profile and restart the server then u can login with "sap*" and "pass"

Hello

After the changing the profile parameter "login/no_automatic_user_sapstar=0" before restart.

Make sure you delete sap* user ( if exists ) from database level ( MS Sql) from the new client.
