Dear sir,

Pls give exact the use of Assets and if it is not given in the equipment , wat will be effect or nothing to damage?.

Because in my client , equipment master having cost center and profitcenter also will deal the Acconting work? is it enough?

Hi,

Asset numbers in equipments are used only for reporting purposes. It is helpful in finance point of view to analyse the costs and derive the reports based on asset numbers. Otherwise it has not much impact in PM.

Yes, maintaining CC and Profit center will do.
