What is the purpose of assigning g/l account with combination of material account group and account key, and if we don't define the account in material group/account key combination then what will be impact of that?
it is normally were you want the debit/credit needed
for example you have a different type of material and you want to capture the sales happened to it in different GL , then you can use the material account assignment group .
Some times there will be requirement from Finance dept saying tht Sale of this particular material should hit this G/l account. in these cases v make use of material acct grp of MMR.
Say all the sale of imported material shld hit one G/L account.
