Hi Friends,
This is my requirement, kindly guide me how I'll approach and what are the prerequisites required for this B2B scenario.
IDOCS will be sent to XI server and from there forwarded to the eBanking environment (eHUB and BCS). At the eHUB the files are translated into EDIFACT PAYMUL format. After translation the payment batches become visible on the BCS for approval/rejection. After approval the batches are forwarded to the banks HUB.
Your great efforts is highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Best Regards,
Naresh
Hi,
It depends on existing design if any.
Option 1 A:
Let IDOC will create a file in the Application Server using File Port and send this via XI.. Kind of File to File Scenario. Here the catch is I think eBanking Hub requires Security.. so you need to go with file transfer via sFTP. Probably you need to work on Unix Script to transfer the file SFTP way using OS Command in the file adapter. So it will be a file>PI>file scenario.
Option 1 B:
Send the IDOC directly to XI and in XI collect it using ccBPM and send one file via sFTP to eBanking Hub. To do this need to think the right BPM Collect Pattern i.e time based , message based etc.. Also need to think upon the no. of IDocs per day i.e volume of the messages
Option2:
Send the IDOC directly to the BCS by-passing the eHuB. Probably this will be a good option . For this you can make use of EDI Adapters as mentioned in earlier post. I feel, this will not be right one as eHUB will have some other functionality to do.
Hence option1 will be straight forward.
Hope this helps, Regards, Moorthy

Hi Naresh,
According to my understood.. you need to send IDOC's from R/3 to XI and XI to eHUb and HUB to BCS -- as well BCS-to HUB and HUB-to XI-to -R/3system.. but your HUB can able to recive the documents only EDI format... is it right..
for that you need to use Seeburger adapter beacuse Xi can send you the XML format only.. but your target system can able to recive only EDI files.. means then convert your target XML files into EDI format and vice versa. you need to install the seeburger on XI server once u install u will able to see the seeburger adapter. and then deploy the Seeburger standard mapping on XI.
insatll Seeburger adapter and configure this adapter in the xi server .. and proceed ..
Thanks

HI,
First of all for B2B scenario u need to have the third party seeburger adapters like AS2,OFTPS,FTP,X400.
For this scenario
1) U need to install the seeburger on XI server once u install u will able to see the seeburger adapter.
2) U need to deploy the Seeburger standard mapping on XI which will be used in adapter module parameter tab for converting XML to EDIFACT strucutre.
Now here are the details and help regarding seeburger:
Seeburger adapters like OFTPS,AS2,X400 are used for B2B scenario where the file is coming through WAn network or mailbox. As XI dont have capability to convert the EDIFACT format file to XML the same work will be done by seeburger adapters.
The SEEBURGER Business Integration Converter (BIC) is an any-to-any format converter, used to translate EDI data and legacy data formats into XML and vice versa. It can also be used for complex, high performance XML-to-XML mappings or to interface to existing JDBC data sources.
Supported EDI formats include:
ANSI
EDIFACT
INHOUSE
IDOC
XML Schema
XML DTD
CSV
Delimited Data
positional data
SWIFT
EANCOM
and many more.
See for converting the EDI XML to EDI and XML-EDI you need to have a seeburger mapping program at the adapter module which does the conversion. For this module you need a BIC tool of seeburger which provides the different module program for EDI to XML and XML-EDI. This program needs to be deployed on XI and through adapter it has to be called for conversion.
