Hi,
We have cProjects 4.0 run on ECC 6.0. Whenever logging into this gives following errors
1. Communication with the WFM core system is not possible
2. Unable to establish connection to LiveCache.
Are these errors because of any installation problem or any additional settings are required?
Any help in this regard is greately appreciated.
Regards,
Laxminarsimha
Hi,
The Problem may be that for the Project type you have selected some Project roles> which in custiomising you have WFM (Workforce Managament ) activated.
IF WFM server is not installed the roles wont activate hence in
SPRO>Cproject>Resource mgmt>role types>
check the role which has WFM tickmark is deactivated
Go to SPRO> Cproject> struture> Project types>select a type and select Role which has no WFM activated.

I have done the settings for project role type and also as per your suggestion activated the WFM.
I created a new project and added phases, check lists and tasks. Then I would like to add project role to a task, for this I selected the task and 'Resources' tab. I clicked on 'Create Project role' link, Project roles screen appears. Here I do not see any project role types which I have already defined for this project type earlier, as entire screen appears in display mode.
Please clarify do I need to do any other configuration settings.

are you working on Cproject suit 4.0
in that case you need not use WFM.
What i meant is Deactivate Checkbox against WFM in role types.
Add the role types (which do not user WFM ) to Project types.
then try to create a project role.
Give me mail id
i ll snd screen shot fr reference.
