Cheque printing problem

Former Member

Hi gurus,

I am facing a problem in cheque printing from transaction code F-58. I have defined a new page format with 232mm * 93 mm and assign it to my output device by SPAD transaction code. For first cheque it is printing properly but when I am trying to print the continuous cheque it is giving one space at the begining of 2nd cheque , two spaces on third cheque and so on. Due to this all of my printing are comming down-wards from 2nd cheque onward.

I have tried by minimizing the page height also but it was also not helping me.

Currently my Basis consultant is not available so I have to do all the settings myself.

I am using Windows XP OS, Database Oracle and Printer is

Wipro EX 330+DX.

Please tell me how to solve this issue ... It is urgent..

Thanks in advance

Hi,

For this you have to go to printer settings.

right-click on your printer then go to printing prefrences,

there you have to specfy tractor feed and also you will have to specify your page size there . I had similar problems and after this settings i got the printouts properly.

try this and let me know wether its working or not.

Bharat

Hi bharat ,

I have done the same settings in printer but still it is printing the same way.

Please suggest me any solutions.

One more thing I have checked my Basis has created the Output device with device type EPESCP9 i.e. EPSON ESC/P 9-pin printer. But I am using Wipro printer is that be a problem? But I found for device types of wipro in SPAD but wipro printer is not there ... So what could be the device types for Wipro..

Pls reply its urgent...

With best regards

Hi ,

Check the driver attached to your printer in SPAD.

Tell your Basis consultant to give the driver as SAPWIN and access method as F.

or you can do it yourself in SPAD go to the output device and in that give device type as SAPWIN and in access method give ' F ', ie Print on front end computer.

You must have created a page format and a spool format in SPAD, then assign that page format and spool format to SAPWIN.

Try this and let me know.

Bharat.

Hi,

u r using the SPAD . it is correct tcode, but i think u had given any increment counter between the pages.so thats y it is printing like that.

No there is no increment counter in that... and windows are also positioned such a way that space is not a problem.
