Material not getting confirmed

Hi,

My material is lying at finished goods stock but then also in my sales order this material is not getting confirmed.

May I know what can be the reason?

what type of stock you need for the order.

unrestricted or sales order?

if u donot have sales order stock and system is asking then u will have to convert stock from unrestricted to sales order or wice versa.

411 412 413 are the movement type to check for the same

special stock u have to chose is E(sales order)

You can check the open orders/deliveries & PO against this particular material T-code MD04.

there cud be open orders and deliveries against this particular material. u can find the same in va05 and mmbe by viewing the details.

just got to schedules lines in the line item and find out the material avaliable date and all.

Material is available as what? unristicted stock or special stock (i.e. order stock).

If availability check activated you need run availibility check in VA02 for the line item. Then it will update confirm quantity is Schedule line.

Revert back with more details.

Hi,

The material is in unrestricted stock.There is no open delivery or open orders for it also.No RLT also.No safety stock also.Now when I am trying to create delivery its not picking the quantity even though the material is in unrestricted stock.

Can you try by maintaining as special stock in MB1C, so that you can analyse either system is serching for customer stock.

I feel your order is serching for customer stock not unristicted stock.

i hope you know how to maintain as special stock.

In MB1C:

Movment type 561 Special stock 'E'

plant and Storage location

Also don't forgot to run availability check after maintain special stock. Then check in schedule line confirmed qty is available or not.

Check the open deliveries ( Deliveries created but not PGI ) against the material. You use T-Code - MD04.
