Moving the trans directory to another drive .

Hi

We facing one problem , We change the location of the trans directory from E drive to D drive . So that we rename the old trans directory as trans_old and copy all the contents of the trans_old to newly created trans folder in D drive .

Now the problem were started in the configuration of the newly created trans folder . in AL11 t-code , we are only able to create DIR_TRANS path only , We are not able to create DIR_TRFILES and DIR_TRSUB .

So kindly give me the solution .

Hello Senthil,

Please change the parameter in instanse profile of your system.

DIR_TRANS = <new path location>

restart the server and import the profiles from rz10.

Login in to the Domain Controller system of the landscape.

goto>STMS>System Overview>Click on the SID which you wanted to change>goto change mode-->enter the new path for TRANSDIR.

Hi,

i also wanted to do the same.. (change from F: to I:) .... so i moved the trans folder to i:\ & made new share... then included the server name\share in the parameters like u said.. but no luck....
