Single Sign On (SSO) SAP XI?

what are the steps to enable the Single Sign On (SSO) for SAP XI using SAP Logon Ticket.. My ticket issuing system is EP(enterprise portal ) and the accepting ticket system is SAP XI.

i have already gone through this Pdf . what my query now is that i have created a web application and when i give the authentication for the first time it asks for the user name and password . now how i can check that the logon ticket is generated or not ?

i am working on Single Sign On(SSO) . i have created a webdynpro project in NWDS and deployed on j2ee engine of EP(enterprise portal ) which calls the web service deployed on SAP XI j2ee engine .when i am executing my web service how can i know that the logon ticket is generated .it also gives an error

My Error: com.sap.tc.webdynpro.model.webservice.api.WDWSModelExecuteException: Exception on execution of web service with WSDL URL 'http://inbomsap11:50000/addNumber/Config1?wsdl&style=document' with operation 'add' in interface 'addNumberVi_Document'

can anyone help in this matter . its very urgent.
