Microsoft Visio Problem

Hi Gurus,

I am facing a problem when i try to open the Microsoft Visio in my repository.

I am not getting to know what is the problem.

Pl help me out.

Yes I am able to open the MS visio.

One thing I am not able to open a particular Workflow.

Have u done the configuration for Visio thru Data Manager

Hi Pramod,

Go to visio and open the pages(Start->programs) . Then go to MDM and try to open the visio. It will work.

Hi Pramod,

The path specified by Nikhil is Windows -->> Start -->> Programs -->> Microsoft visio 2000 or Greater.

Just see wether Visio is opening or not If its opening directly then it shud open thru Data Manager.

HI Pramod,

I think MS Visio version which you are using is not compatible with MDM. You have to install MS Visio 2003 Professional/standard version.

Install Visio 2000 onwards version and also check if workflow installation has been done.

Visio >2000 should be installed .

u should install 'MDM workflow' client seperately on u r PC.

What type of error are you getting? Have you loaded the Workflow extension provided with the installs?

hi,

Please do check the version of the visio which u have installed it should be visio 2000 or greater.

If it is not the version problem, then may be you have not

After doing all these settings u will b able to use the visio within the Data Manager.

log in to the Data manager:

select the workfolow table, In the records --> right click and from the context menu select ADD, one new record, will be created,

In the record details you can find workflow -- microsoft visio document --> double click on that field it will take you to Visio template.
