Add approver for release shopping cart

Hai Experts,

Our client is having an issue with the shopping cart approvel.

Our's is BBP 4.0,

Here the problem is:

shopping cart creator adding himself as a approver, and approving the cart.

We have already worked on the issue, and rectified by uploading a patch file, which is given in SAP Note:923577,

But now out problem is with the approver change, EBP is allowing the user to choose approver for his SC approving, whose purchasing value limit is less than the shopping cart value.

Please suggest me, how SRM is allowing the users to choose SC approver having low PO value limet then SC value,

Is there any product earror is there in SRM ? how to come out of this issue...

Please help me out to solve this issue.

This might be a bug in the System or possibly due to missing authorizations in the system...

Hi Atul,

Thanks for your reply,

Intially we worked on subject issue in different views and we raised a request to SAP also and finally we came to know that it is the product error in SRM 4.0 version, SAP also confimed the same.

They recommeded us to upload the patch having these two badi's.
