How to start oracle service on boot in linux

Hi ,

I have Oracle 10g with Netweaver 04s and i cant start the oracle serice automatic on boot. Every time i have to login to oraSID user and start listner with lnsnctl start and then login with sidadm and startsap all to start my sap but now i need to start it automatically can any one suggest how i can i do it

hello,

For this you can use the dbstart and dbshut scripts.

Detailed information can be found on the Oracle documentation ( AFAIK, it is not explained in the SAP documentation )

You can find the information on the:
