Can any body explain me about RG23A and RG23C?

Hi Srikanth,

These two Registers will be used as excise Registors.

The Register RG23A used to maintain the procured raw marerial details, inthat we have RG23A 1 & RG23A 2,

In RG23A 1 Raw material quantity will be maintained.

In RG23A 2 Raw material Value will be maintained.

The Registor RG23C used to maintain the Capital goods details,inthat we have RG23C 1 & RG23C 2,

In RG23C 1 Capital goods quantity will be maintained.

In RG23C 2 Capital goods will be maintained.

For purchase and issue of excisable raw materials, we need to maintain a register which is called RG23A and to be submitted to excise authorities on monthly basis.

RG23C is same as RG23A register but here we need to maintain Capital Goods and Fixed Assets
