SICK - No application server offes an ENQ service

Former Member

Hi,

I've got my install at a level where I can sign in but I suspect some part of it isn't running.

When I go into transaction SICK I get a message saying :-

No application server offers an ENQ service, severe problems were detected during initial system check.

Also I've tried running the BSP Tutorial 1 and it won't execute giving a HTTP 500 error which sounds like server not found.

Any help appreciated....

Hi,

I've got through the Weblog upto the point where I import the profiles of active servers.

It gets the following instance profile :-

FSA2005_BSP_00:BSP_D00.pfl

When I try to edit BSP_DVEBMGS00_FSA2005 it doesn't exist. If I open the listbox I get the following profiles only :-

DEFAULT

BSP_D00

BSP_DVEBMGS00_P72367

START_DVEBMGS00_P72367

Not sure where to go from here.

you need to choose

BSP_DVEBMGS00_P72367

and click on the radio button for Extended maintenance and click change.

(as explained in step 5 of the weblog)

Sorry I'm getting there, I think this is what you needed :-

Business Server Page (BSP) Error

BSP Exception: Die URL enthält keine vollständige Domainangabe (fsa2005 statt fsa2005fsa2005).

The english meaning of this German message is that you need to configure Fully Qualified Domain Name. (FQDN)

how to do that?

check out this weblog.

The F8 execute tries to open the following page :-

http://fsa2005:8080/sap/bc/bsp/sap/tutorial_1/default.htm?sap-client=000&sap-sessioncmd=open

And gives the following error :-

HTTP 500 internal server error

There is a problem with the page and the server you are trying to reach

My knowledge of IIS is quite minimal but I can't find anything in my C:\Inetpub\wwwroot that matches the above file.

Help !

I've found some answers reading through Forum.

Can someone post ALL of there Extended RZ10 settings for the BSP_ profile.

A screenshot showing everything would be helpfull.

If only this was mentioned in the Install instrctions !

just uncheck the show friendly http error checkbox from browser

tools->internet options->advanced

and run the BSP again you will see the exact error thrown by the server. and tell us that error , we will try an fix it.
