FAQ: Time Zone

Hi gurus,

Have a Big doubt.

THe doubt is, we have a SAP users span across countries in the world with different time zones accessing the system in India with Indian time zone. If the user in japan changes/updates any report, table or masters, then what will be the affect on the data and time and after some time if user in us or uk changes the same then what will be the settings?

Please solve.

Hey Kishore,

When working with several countries, users should have the current time in the system.

In order to check what's the time of the user according to the system, you should press system->status and check the time.

You should maintain the time-zone of the system in transaction "STZAC", however, in your case, you should also change the default time-zone of each user. this can be done in transaction SU01, select a user, go to maintain, select the "DEFAULTS" tab, and change the time-zone of the users who are using different time-zone...

In Israel we celibrate the new year twice

(Once at the hebrew date the once at the first in january).

I did a little research, I havn't found a guide,

but I found out some notes, for example:
