XI Configurations in ECC 6.0

Hello all,

My client is upgrading from 4.6 to ECC 6.0 with XI replacing the existing SEM system between the legacy and the SAP systems. Now, the Basis consultant is doing the XI configurations in the ECC system. Can someone please tell me how can I make sure if the XI configurations are done correctly to start working on the XI system? The basic XI system is configured, but I try to launch the integration builder, I get nothing on the screen. What configurations hav to be done by the Basis person to make this work?

first of all tell BASIS guy to check weather ABAP and JAVA stack are installed correctly without any error,

then check you have all authorizations for JAVA stack (IB/ID/SLD) (in most of the cases there must be an authorization issue)

then check all your configurations in SLD are ok,

then check RFC,IDOC,LS,partners are ok,

From ECC 6.0, check

1. All RFC connection to XI should be working fine

2. SLDCHECK

From XI, check whether exchange profile is correctly set also perform the SLDCHECK and RFC connection check.
