XI Adapter EXCHANGE_PROFILE_ACCESS

Hello,

we heave a scenario where we are connecting 2 XI (7.0) via the XI-Adapter. The sender XI ist calling the url (server:8011/sap/XI/engine/?type=entry) with a copy of the PIAPPL user.

The sender is getting the following error message:

EXCHANGE_PROFILE_ACCESS

error reading EXCHANGE PROFILE n system XXX client XXX.

Any idea what we can do ?

Symptom

An error occurs when you access the Exchange Infrastructure Profile. The standard procedures are unable to detect the cause of the problem.

Hello Aashish,

I think the sap-note descibes more the interal problem with the exchange profil. I tried to read the echxangeProfil by calling the url (server:port/echangeProfiles) and got the browser based appication for this. So this looks OK.

What it think that there might be a problem with the user or the authorisation.

Is there a blog for connecting 2 XI via the XI-adapter somehere available or do I have to maintain some special setting for the user or the url?
