Creating Repository in SAP MDM

I am getting the below error when I am trying to create a respository in SAP MDM.

"Error Initializing database engine.".

Hi Venkatesh,

I think your Oracle services are down. For this go to run command->services.msc. In that just restart your Oracle server.

I think this may solve your problem

You have not selected the right Database server.
