1. I read like XI incorporate existing functionality into new processes with
1. Adapters( JCA)
2. Web Services (WSDL)
is it so.....?
2. then, how it works , what is JCA and WSDL, where will we use these??

It is the framework on which the XI is designed.
Adapter is based on JCA architecture framework of java
