IDOC Scenario -> User has no RFC authorization for function group EDIN

Former Member

Hi all,

I'm trying to configure an IDOC scenario from ECC to XI.

RFC's, ports and destinations already configured. On WE19 I'm creating an IDOC for testing the scenario. The IDOC is sent successfully, and it stops on TRFC Monitor with error "User PIRFCUSER has no RFC authorization for function group EDIN." .

Some of you knows what authorization is needed? Basis team said the roles are the same at DEV environment, and there this scenario works fine.

Thanks for your help.

regards.

Roberti

Use tcode ROLE_CMP to compare the role in both the system. Make sure the RFC destination is created for target system.

Hi,

we double checked all the roles and all seems to be exactly equal in DEV and PRD systems...

it does not seems to be an authorization problem (although the error that appears on tx smqs is about authorization...)

Another way to check the authorization issue is to try giving full authorization (SAP_ALL) to PIRFCUSER and check problem can be resolve.

We set the user to the group which has system privilege and now it is working. We will check next month what is the real problem, probably as you said is some role missing that basis team didn't find.

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

Check with PIRFCUSER user , that is having the right authorization or not ..

And make sure that this user is present in the system & it should not locked.

to check that user is present or not-----goto su01 of the system & check

Already checked - this seems not to be the problem.

Check if the user has S_RFC role. If not then assign it. The authorization object S_RFC must contain any RFC function groups

The RFC "Remote logon" and "connection test" works fine with this user. User, passwd, host, client and all other information on the RFC where double checked, all ok...
