Hello
one of our interfaces uses SAPFTP from an ABAP program to move files to an external FTP server.
The FTP starts sending the files, but gets stopped after a number (number different in every test) of files with following messages :
ERROR => [31562] NIECONN_BROKEN:TCP/IP Network Connection Broken in getreply() [ftp.c 278]
ERROR => [31562] TCP/IP error, connection terminated
[ftpmain.c 1485]
Any hints ?
(transfer works without problems using an FTP client like FileZilla)
And , yes, I've patched SAPFTP to the latest level
Hi,
I have the same problem. When I start SAPFTP in cmd box I can open a connection to the target server. But when I do a ls or other command the connection is broken.
I have a work arround :
In SM59 I changed RFC "SAPFTPA" to use sapftp.exe on a different host. This works, but I am looking for a final solution.
If you have solved the problem could you share the solution?
Thanks, Hans

Please do not write e-mail addresses in SDN postings. There are two reasons for that:
- you might get a lot of spam-mails. If you really want to give out your e-mail address use your SDN business card.
- one of the ideas behind the SDN is that other people can learn from discussions and postings. If we just establish e-mail discussions between people no one else can learn from them.
Best regards,
Jan
