Send status to receiver system, if idoc has error.

Hi expert,

I have one query, I have to send the status of an Idoc when the status goes into 'Error' or 'OK' from my R/3 System to EDI (Third Party) System.

Can you describe your scenario more precisely?

Not sure if I got you properly, you can send IDoc ALEAUD "Confirmations of the processing status of inbound IDocs" from R/3 via XI to your EDI partner with the status of an inbound IDoc.

Thanks for your reply,

we are receiving the idoc from EDI System and posting that into the R/3 system,

requirement is for sending the status of idoc back to EDI System whether it is OK or Error posting.

One thing is also that XI system is not in between.

The scenario is direct from R/3 to EDI System AND EDI System to R/3 System.

Simply, you have to schedule report RBDSTATE in background job.

I dont think we can send the staus to the receiver side from an IDOC.
