"Date is in the past: Please check" Error message in VA01

Hi,

We've just upgraded from 4.7 to ECC6. When running VA01, after we enter the sold-to-party we get the following error:

Date is in the past: Please check

Message no. VD399

I've checked around SDN and I haven't found any solutions. Any ideas as to what might cause this. Please note that the error message did not appear in 4.7 and we're using exactly the same master data

That note looks relevant, I've emailed our BASIS/ABAP team and they're having a look now. Will let you know how it goes.

We found the answer. It had nothing to do with that Note. There was a transaction variant for VA41 that had a delivery date defaulted in (don't ask me why). Every time you made any change to that contract, even though it had no delivery process, it kept notifying you about the dates. We removed the default date from the transaction variant and everything is ok now.

Dear Michail Papadopoulos,

I am asking you to check your computer(Monitor) date. Becouse Computer date is base for all.
