My client requirement is that they should not be allowed to save the Sales Order if the order data is not complete.
How to do the same.
Hello Anil,
If the "incomplete message" check box will be active in the Sales Document type, then system will not allow the user to save the document unless and untill he will fill the incompletion data for the order.

in order to complete the sales order you have to fill some mandatory field as well as some other files.if you don't enter the other fields r/3 system throws you some message "incompletion log".they are not mandatory field but these are required for further processing like shipping and billing.this incompletion log consists of fields like weight,volume,currency,date etc.try to fill those fields and see the result.

VUA2 transaction code (Error log sales doc. header) assing your sales document type and procedure (Std.11).

Hi,
Sales order can be configured with some mandatory entries and incompletion procedure may be configured for not allowing user to save the sales order unless the mandatory fields are not entered.
E.g.: You can configure PO field to be mandatory / PO date to be mandatory.
