Hi All,

This is strange...

I installed ABAP version in my machine, everything works fine. Then later i also installed Java version. The installation was successfull. But, the portal doesnt start at http://localhost:50000/irj, however it start at http://localhost:50200/irj.

Does anyone know what could be the reason??? Is there any place where i can specify the default port number for the web applications???

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Sasi

Hi O,

I dont use URLs to start them.

I use Visual Admin tool and SDM Remote Gui to start them. However in those tools, you got to specify the port number.

Thanks in advance,

Hi Sashi,

Well..The protal works on WAS Java, not ABAP.

So,it is picking up the port # specified during the EP/WAS java installation

Hi Vikas,

Thanks for ur reply. I dont think we have an option to specify the port number during EP/WAS Java installation. Usually the default port number for EP/WAS Java is 50000. But right now my portal is working at the port 50200. I have no problem with that.

But the Visual Adminsitrator usually works at port# 50004, but now its neither working at 50004 nor at 50204.

Similarly the SDM usually works at port# 50018, but now its neither working at 50018 nor at 50218.

However Config Tool is working fine...

So please advise me if i have any solution in finding the port number where SDM and Visual Admin are working at.

Thanks

Sasi
