Hi,
Refer to SAP help link:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/93/a3a74046033913e10000000a155106/frameset.htm
Try to check permission on .tpz file, set it to readable to all. log-off and log-on then try again.
It should work.

Hi subhash,
After "Exporting" , the object get transferred to the export directory of your source system.
You first need to transfer the .tpz files from the export directory to your import directory of your target system. To copy or move file from export directory to import directory we need to login as an administrator.
Then you can import the desired object by logging in the IB of your target system.
Award points if useful.

Hi subhasa,
Yes u copy the .tpz file into ur local system usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\global\xi\repository_server\import drive.
Now if u want to import IR objects use the import function IR to import the .tpz file.
Similerly u can do for ID objects.
