We are trying to clear up the Central Adapter Engine cache. However after we do that when we go and check the Integration Builder configuration -> Notifications we get a error message that the refresh of the Central Adapter Engine has not yet started.
We are also not able to find any of our adapters in the run time work bench.
Our SOAP messages from a host system fail with the error message telling us it can't find the communication channel and it also tells us to look at the Central Adapter Engine Cache.
So, back to the question.
What do we do to make the refresh the Central Adapter Engine cache work?
Okay what we found in regards to this issue was that we had moved the
SAP Recommends implementing 2 or 3 notes on what needs to be done if you have moved the SLD
This includes resyncing passwords for some systems users and clearing the cache.
However, the note about clearing the cache tells us to first execute a test and then based on its result to decide whether the note needs to be applied or not. We executed their test. The message we got was cache was cleared in 30 ms or something. We did this many number of times and everytime the same result. So, we were pretty darn sure that the note need not be applied.
Then, Lo and Behold! Just for the heck of it we right clicked on that results page. The html code in the notepad then shows a big error message right below the success message. The part is the error message seems to be some badly formatted XML which will not even show up in the display.
So, the note's suggested check was really not working. I would recommend applying all the notes if you have moved the SLD. Specifically beware of the one about the Clearing of the Cache.
