SC Offline approval via email

We're currently on SRM 4.0 with classic scenario.

We're using the N-Step badi and the offline approval for our SC process. The badi is able to determine the appropriate approvers and sends the email to the first person on the approver list as this approval is in serial mode. The first approver approves the work item by clicking on the "Approve" button and that sends the email back to SRM. Then...nothing happens. The workflow log shows the item is in the first approver's inbox. There's a list of approvers but no further email has gone out to the next approvers

Where do I go to check if it got back to SRM okay? Is there any log, transaction for me to see what it's waiting for, why it's not sending out the next email, status, etc...?

Thank you,

SN

Please check followings.

1. wf-batch user has email address

2. send test emial to wf-batch email address from your office email

if you get delivery error mail, that means your IT has not configured email routing to SRM in your network email gateway.

3. check inbound delivery customizing in SCOT transaction

Masa,

1. Yes, wf-batch has an email address

2. email sent to wf-batch successful, I think, since I did not get any delivery error. I sent an email to my own id in SRM and I received it in my inbox.

3. How do I check inbound customizing in SCOT?

Thanks.

You just need to schedule the RBBP_OFFLINE_EVAL. It seems inbound processing is not required. SCOT, Settings -> Inbound Processings.

We do have RBBP_OFFLINE_EVAL running and for Inbound Processing, we have the following settings:

Internet Mail * ICS CL_APPOINTMENT_REPLY 1

I don't know if that's the right setting. The other options are:

Confirm Alerts by Mail/SMS CL_ALERT_CONFIRM_BY_MAIL

Exit for Including Email Processing CL_RMPS_INCOMING_MAIL

Handles the Mime of the Email CL_RMPS_PRO_MIME_HANDLING

Receive Push Message Reply by Mail CL_MPA_HANDLE_ALERT_REPLY

Runtime Forms: Mail Interface CL_UWS_FORM_RUNTIME_MAIL

Should it be one of the above?

The next step is, execute the RBBP_OFFLINE_EVAL with debug mode and find the received email. If there is no email, go to SCOT and set inbound trace.
