Question on quotations (va23) and orders (va03) screens.

Users not able to see Texts field from Go to -

 Header -

---

 Texts.

What could be the reason.

Please any help on this.

Sounds like they did some "Special" Authorization on it then.

I would guess they may put some "internal" notes in some of the texts, which they do not want folks with Display only access to see

When in the Order/Quote, type T-Code SU53 just before, or after, GoTo-Header-Texts and see you anything looks like a custom authorization object

Greg, if the Goto-Header-Texts is greyed out in the menu path, this should be the case for VA01/VA02, etc as well.

T-Code VOTXn is where you assign a text determination procedure to the order type(s). If your order type has nothing here, that is why.

Standard OR and QT I believe should have this set up by default

If it is only in VA03/VA23 and not in VA01/VA02/VA21/VA22 then it's most likely a lower level authorization thing

I checked in va02 and va22. I am able to see the Text tab anabled for the useres.

Can you elaborate a bit more?

Did the user entered the text manually when the create the order? or the should be copied from some other source like customer master?
