R/3 4.7 and CRM 2007 on same application server

Hei all.

I am wondering if it is possible to run an application server for R/3 4.7x200 and CRM 2007 on the same physical server? Required resouces needs to be availble of course, but I am wondering if there are some functional/technical limitations with this scenario?

Any ideas?

However, I generally prefer to seperate to application components on seperate servers, it makes maitainence easier and less complex.

my customer currently runs such config IS-U based on 4.7 + CRM 4.0, dual instance on the same server.

they have been running it for two years without problem.
