Material transfer frm Project Stock to Subcontractor - reg

Hello Sir,

My dought is

I want to transfer one material,which already exist in Project stock to Subcontractor/Vendor through movement type 541,

But it not allowing me to transfer posting for tht movement type.

Is there any other way or option to transfer my project material to subcontractor,or is there any different process to do the samee???

Pls suggest me on this issueeee..........

Hi,

You can make transfer of materials from Project stock to free stock & then materials can be send to Vendors. Generally in case of valuated project stock materials can't be issued to vendors directly.

But how can(movement type) i move tht valuated stock to free stock??

If i select this as non valuated stock,thn wht will happen,

Hi,

Use movement type 411 in the same transaction to transfer from Project ie WBS stock to plant stock. Then you can transfer to vendor using movement type 541.

If iam using 411-Q thn again its in unristed stock only,

frm there can i move this to 541???

One more is could u explain indetail abt valuated ,nonvaluated and no Stock concepts.
